Having two degrees in art history—and a very clear love of fine art—Margaret Neeley wanted to decorate her home with original paintings to express her passion and reflect her education. No posters or prints for this girl.
The only problem? She didn't have the budget to spend $5,000, $10,000, $15,000 (!) or more at a gallery. What is a girl to do? Roll up her sleeves and put her education to work. She started creating her own original abstract paintings.
Lo and behold! A few posts on social media later and sharing photos with friends of "what she'd been up to," it turns out that a lot of people feel the way she does. They asked her to make abstract paintings for them too. Guild 31™ was born.
